A straightforward like-for-like boiler swap often takes around 1 day. If it includes relocation of the boiler, changes to fuel type, or system conversions, it might take 1-2 days or more. We’ll give a clear estimate in your quote.

We aim to minimise disruption. For many installations, the heating/hot water is off only during key moments. We use efficient processes and plan the work to reduce downtime. Where needed, we schedule that work at times that suit you.

New boilers come with manufacturer warranties — often from 5 up to 12 years depending on brand/model. We also include guarantees on installation work. To keep warranties valid, regular servicing by a qualified engineer is usually required, and we will handle registering your warranty with the manufacturer.

Yes. All installations are carried out by Gas Safe or OFTEC registered engineers. We comply with Building Regulations, install correct flues, condensate drainage, and ensure safety devices are in place. After install, we provide all relevant documentation, safety checks, and certifications.

Choosing the right size boiler, good controls (thermostats, TRVs), and proper installation can significantly reduce your bills. During the survey we’ll show you the efficiency rating of the boiler we recommend and an estimate of fuel savings over time.

Yes. We frequently move boilers to more optimal or convenient locations (e.g. kitchen, loft, utility room). Relocation often involves extra steps: extending pipework, updating flue length, adjusting condensate drainage. We cover these in the survey and quote.

Usually, yes — but only if it’s done by a certified installer and complies with regulations. Installing a boiler with a Gas Safe / OFTEC registered engineer, and having the correct certification and registration, helps maintain the validity of your home insurance and any building warranties.

After installation we will commission the system (ensure everything meets safety and performance standards), register your warranty, issue paperwork, and explain how to use the controls, maintenance schedules, and when you should book boiler servicing. We also remain available for any aftercare support.
